Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the evening relaxing after your flight and preparing for your exciting safari adventure ahead.
After breakfast, fly to the Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival in the central Serengeti, you’ll begin your first game drive, where you’ll witness the wide-open plains teeming with wildlife, from wildebeest and zebras to elephants and giraffes. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your drive, soaking in the sights and sounds of the Serengeti. In the evening, check in at your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Spend the day exploring the central Serengeti, home to a variety of wildlife and an abundance of predators. This area is known for its large lion prides and cheetahs that often prey on the migrating herds. Follow the migration as it moves through the central plains, and enjoy a packed lunch in the park to maximize your time in the wilderness. Return to camp in the evening to relax under the stars.
After breakfast, drive north toward the Mara River, the site of dramatic river crossings during the migration. As you travel, spot wildebeest and zebras moving towards the river, and keep an eye out for the predators that follow the herds. Arrive at your camp or lodge in the northern Serengeti in time for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive. The northern Serengeti is home to diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, and elephants.
Today, spend the day along the Mara River, hoping to witness the dramatic river crossings. With patience and luck, you may see thousands of wildebeest and zebras bravely crossing the crocodile-infested waters. Your guide will take you to the best vantage points to observe this once-in-a-lifetime event. In the evening, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.

The northern part of the park offers breathtaking scenery with rolling hills and lush riverbanks, and it is teeming with predators that track the herds. After a thrilling day of game viewing, return to camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, embark on a game drive as you make your way back to the central Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll have another opportunity to observe the migration, as well as spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and enjoy your final sunset in the Serengeti.
Take an early morning game drive before flying back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll have lunch and some time to shop for souvenirs or explore the town before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your incredible Serengeti migration safari.
