Itinerary
Our Lion Safaris staff/ Driver guide will come to pick you from your residence or Airport in Kigali, go for a city tour where you will visit the Genocide memorial site, the local market, have lunch and drive to Volcanoes National Park and check in for Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
You will wake up in the morning the get your early breakfast and head to the park headquarters to be briefed about how to behave while you are visiting then proceed to track the gorillas. After the remarkable adventure with the gorillas, you will have lunch and later visit the twin lake Bulera and Ruhondo then the driver guide will bring you back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.
Wake up in the morning and have breakfast at the hotel and head to the park headquarters for briefing on how to behave on golden monkeys when you meet them from their natural habitat. By 8.00am you set off in your cars and drive to the start of walking point, From here you get hiking sticks and and start your walk to the golden monkeys and enjoy them, Later you will return to the vehicle and the driver guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast, drive to lake Kivu, have lunch and then go for a boat ride and visit the fishing villages, spring water, birds, island and many more tourism attractions then the driver guide will take back for Overnight stay at Kivu Serena Hotel which is located so close of lake Kivu.
You will wake up in the morning then have your late breakfast, after breakfast, you will check out then Lion Safaris driver guide will come to pick you up and drive you back to Kigali to catch your flight back home depends on your flight time or he will drop you off at your residence in Kigali.
